Get on your bike and join artist-researcher and graphic designer Yeon Sung (연성) as she cycles through the polluted air of the Port of Rotterdam. Cycling the Unknown is a tour and participatory performance that explores polluted air as a collective and bodily experienced phenomenon. During this bike tour, participants are invited to cycle through polluted areas in the Port of Rotterdam, using sensor technology - including their own bodies - and collectively experience the ‘weather’ under the guidance of the artist.

BYOB (Bring Your Own Bike!) You can either bring your own bike or rent an OV bike at Maassluis metro station. However, the number of bikes available for rent is very limited so it is safer to take your own bike. On the weekend you can freely travel with your bike on the metro.
